Children's Easter Egg Hunt
Children of all ages attended the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the church since the rain did not allow us to hunt the home of the Hollis'. Children brought their Easter Baskets along with 12 plastic eggs filled with candy. The children listened to a bible story, hunted eggs, played games, and ate lunch. Volunteers helped make this a huge EGGSTRAVIGANZA!! We appreciate the Hollis family in offering us to continue this special tradition at their home! Hopefully next year it will not rain!

PumPkIN Patch FaRM 2021
We had a great time visiting the Pumpkin Patch Farm in Blue Mountain, MS.
Some of our activities included a jumping pillow, giant slides, picking
pumpkins, pony rides, petting zoo, wagon and train rides and picnic lunch. There were also plenty of yummies to eat - Homemade Carmel apples, fudge, baked goods and ice cream.and lots of fall fun.

Rise Against Hunger
This is what our church is all about. Our church members,
along with other volunteers , met from 6-7:30 pm to pack meals for Rise Against
Hunger. Praise be to God for all of our workers! Thanks be to God for
his blessings.

Vacation Bible School
This year St. Andrews United Methodist joined Amory FUMC in VBS. The children had a blast!

seder meal
On April 1, 2021, the staff of FUMC prepared for the congregation a Seder meal as we celebrated Maundy Thursday. It was a great way to prepare our hearts for Easter Sunday.

2019 Home Bound Members Valentine Reception
The Congregational Care Committee hosted a Valentine Reception on February 10 for our homebound members. The lounge was filled with church members of all ages. Brother Wesley started the reception with a short devotional. Drew Hicks and Brother Wesley provided the entertainment. Apple cider, cake, and cookies were served.
