Layne is a 2012 Amory High School graduate. She obtained an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Itawamba Community College. Layne has been employed with the Early Learning Center for seven years. She started out as an afternoon teacher in 2014. She then became a two year old teacher and shortly after was the Pre-K teacher. Layne was promoted to Assistant Director for FUMC ELC in 2019. Layne has been married to her husband, David Carroll, for four years. 

Madelyn is a 2019 Smithville High School graduate. She received her Associates of Art Degree from Itawamba Community College in 2021. Maddie plans to become a Real Estate Agent or an Appraiser in the near future. She is recently engaged to the love of her life, Logan Mitchell. A verse that she lives by reads, "For we live by Faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7

Cassie is a teacher in the older ones class. She is currently attending Mississippi State in pursuit of her Bachelors in Elementary Education with a  minor in Early Childhood. This is her third year at FUMC ELC and her seventh year in the classroom. She is originally from Dallas, Texas but has loved living in Amory. She is married to Caleb Holder who is the Associate Pastor at FUMC Amory. 

Elizabeth is a 2015 Amory High School graduate. She obtained her Bachelors degree in Elementary Ed with a concentration in Early Childhood English and Music. Elizabeth recently joined FUMC ELC in March of 2021. She will be working as one of our three year old teachers. Her hobbies consist of bass fishing and watching any sport involving Mississippi State.

Samantha is a one year old teacher for the ELC.

Emma graduated from Smithville High School in 2019. She is currently enrolled at Itawamba Community College. Emma plans to graduate with a degree in Early Elementary Education. She started working at the Early Learning Center as a afternoon teacher. This will be her first year as a full time teacher. Emma will be one of our two year old teachers.
